Graydon James & The Young Novelists play at Phog

Graydon James & The Young Novelists

In the span of three fast-paced years GRAYDON JAMES & THE YOUNG NOVELISTS have won a Galaxie Rising Star award, toured the east coast three times, and played numerous festivals.  Said Vue Weekly: “[No] gimmicks or studio trickery here, just good old-fashioned musical talent that combines soaring three-part harmonies, a host of instruments and storytelling to create an end result that emotes and entertains.”  For fans of Blue Rodeo, The Band, and “pre-weirdness” Wilco.

See them perform “What Kind of Man” for the Wood & Wires Video Series below:
The Allens play Phog

The Allens

From humble beginnings on high school and small town stages, THE ALLENS from the forest city have exploded into Ontario’s most respected venues.  Rich vocal harmonies, blue-collar lovesick anthems and a frenetic stage presence.  “If you like drinking bourbon from a wine glass, and dancing until dawn, then you’ll like us.”

Joined by Windsor’s own LEIGHTON BAIN BAND, get ready for a night of roots-rock barnstormers and heartfelt folk ballads to get you out of your seat and singing along.
