The decal in the window that reads “GUSVILLE” was upon request from the organizers of the events happening in honor of the Devil’s Brigade in the coming days. Instead of a vinyl, flapping sign, I opted for the vinyl sticker. Apparently, it was the name of the place that these soldiers went to drink after their missions. I had no idea of the particulars or how the name came to be. I’ll ask the vets if they stop by.
